Nsw | Internal Accountant (Full Time)

Goldfield & Banks seek someone who wants to immerse them self in general accounting and the finances of a small business.

As Goldfield & Banks continue to grow, they are now inviting applications for a full-time, permanent role that has been newly created to bring financial operations in-house, a task previously managed by an external accounting firm.

The Role:

This role is not just a job; it's a journey through the olfactory landscape,
managing approximately 40 saleable SKUs and 20 sample SKUs, along with their components. We seek someone who wants to immerse them self in general accounting and the finances of a small business, who can:
• Expand our General Ledger.
• Prepare monthly IAS and Quarterly BAS.
• Prepare tax returns.
• Contribute to our monthly P&L, balance sheet, and basic management
accounts.
• Processing supplier invoices and payments using XERO.
• Process customer statements and monthly payroll for our Australian
and International staff.
• Reconcile and match in XERO bank account transactions.
• Undertake Stock reconciliation with Cin7.
• Liaise with our CEO and marketing team to craft budgets that tell our
brand's story.

Key Attributes:

• Relevant tertiary accounting qualifications.
• 2+ years’ previous relevant accounting experience.
• Adept at navigating XERO to process supplier invoices and payments,
importing sales invoices from Cin7, and ensuring stock reconciliation is
as precise as our fragrances.
• Experience using XERO.
• A background in wholesaling products is beneficial.
• The ability to speak French is essential.
• Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Good computer skills with packages including Microsoft Office Suite
(Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and databases.
• Strong attention to detail.
