About the Role
If you are a new graduate or due to graduate this year, Monash Health is looking to provide you with the perfect starting point for your career. The successful applicants will gain experience at MMC Clayton, Moorabbin, Dandenong Hospital & Casey Hospital.
About Us
We are a department spread over four campuses; MMC Clayton, Moorabbin, Dandenong and Casey. We are a dedicated team that offers a wide variety of Nuclear Medicine and PET studies across our sites, with hot and cold lab, radiopharmacy support for PET and radioactive iodine therapies. We service in and outpatients, as well as paediatric patients via the Monash Children;s Hospital. Monash Health is involved in extensive clinical trial work. We also staff a PET/MRI suite at Monash Biomedical Imaging.
About You
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
- highly motivated and enthusiastic
- good attention to detail
- good communication skills
- Completion of an approved tertiary diploma or degree or graduate diploma course in Nuclear Medicine Technology (or equivalent)
- Registered to practice in Victoria- Medical Radiation Practitioners Board (MRPB)
- Holder of Victorian Department of Human Services “Use Licence” – as per Radiation Act 2005
- Accredited (or eligible for accreditation) with Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine (ANZSNM)

Monash Health will give you the ability to develop your skills in diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures and Positron Emission Tomography (PET) in a professional environment supported by an exceptional clinical education team and overseen by a large number of technologist staff with years of experience. You will also get to work directly with amazing Nuclear Medicine Specialists, physicists, a cardiac technologist and a radiopharmaceutical team. We acknowledge that as new graduates, or soon to graduate technologists you will not yet be able to meet all of the above requirements immediately.
