We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) to join our team as as the Grade 3Practice Improvement Coordinator. The role is a fixed term role (12 months). The successful candidate will be an integral part of the senior NMT team supporting the Chief NMT to advocate for Molecular imaging interests at quality and safety forums, ensure maintenance of policy and procedures, proactively identify and support Practice Improvement and coordinate relevant department audits and accreditation
THE DEPARTMENT
The Molecular Imaging Department is comprised of a large multidisplinary team specialising in PET, Nuclear Medicine and Radionuclide Therapy. You will have the opportunity to gain experience in our expanding radionuclide therapy program which includes two centres of excellence – The Neuroendocrine tumour (NET) Unit and the Prostate Theranostics and Imaging Centre of Excellence (ProsTIC). Combined, they make Peter Mac the largest Theranostic Centre in Australasia with ongoing development in the use of emerging isotopes and alpha therapies. Our extensive PET department currently comprises of four PET/CT scanners including a new digital PET/CT and our team is actively involved in numerous clinical research trials including phase 1 novel PET tracer studies. You will have the opportunity to participate and attend a variety of regular education sessions including scientific meetings, multidisciplinary meetings and grand rounds.

Essential Requirements
- Bachelor Applied Science, Nuclear Medicine (or equivalent)
- APHRA regsitration (Nuclear Medicine Technologist)
- Victorian Radiation Use Licence
- Valid WWCC
- Valid Police Check
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience in similar clinical care settings and higher academic achievements would be highly desirable
