Opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the growing team at Royal Darwin Hospital (RDH) medical imaging, performing Nuclear Medicine procedures including Positron Emission Tomography (PET), and trained in radio-pharmacy production and Quality Control, with the opportunity to be involved at the RDH cyclotron facility.

We are looking for a motivated Technologist who is keen and motivated in all aspects of Nuclear Medicine. Under the guidance of, and in collaboration with, the Manager of Nuclear Medicine and the medical imaging senior leadership team, this position will provide development for Nuclear Medicine and PET at the RDH. The successful applicant will have interpersonal skills and will show enthusiasm for professional practice supervision, support in training and mentorship, and providing clinical support across the medical imaging team.

The position would suit a technologist looking for a varied public hospital workload with no on-call service, and with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to patient-centred care.

The department has an engaged and approachable Nuclear Medicine physician on-site.
