In this role you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Nuclear Medicine Department services ensuring that all patients/clients have equitable and appropriate access along with performing high quality diagnostic imaging for the purpose of clinical diagnosis using complex clinical procedures.
If you have:
- Current registration with Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia as a Medical Radiation Practitioner – Nuclear Medicine Technologist with an appropriate recognised post graduate diploma in a relevant area of specialisation, as per the Award.
- Current NSW EPA Radiation User Licence in the following categories: IA16 and S14.
- Ability to manage integrated radiology systems including PET scanner, Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) and PACS/RIS.
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult, liaise and negotiate with all levels of staff, patients and external agencies and the ability to positively influence organisational change.
