The appointment will cover a period of maternity leave for 12 months and will play a pivotal part in shaping our organisation's future by fostering the growth and development of our leaders.The key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the organisation and implementation of tailored learning solutions.
- Participating in the creation of specialised learning programs to meet team-specific needs.
- Developing comprehensive learning materials and resources.
- Delivering dynamic learning experiences through various mediums, including virtual courses, workshops, and simulations.
- Tracking and evaluating staff competency and ongoing Leadership Development activities.
- Assessing and reporting on the effectiveness of leadership learning programs.
You will achieve these goals by building effective relationships with internal stakeholders and aligning activities with organisational objectives. You will collaborate with internal SMEs and external vendors to design impactful
Leadership Development programs that comply with safety, risk, environmental and other industry standards.
The PersonYou will be an experienced Learning and Development professional with experience in a similar role in a government agency / department or commercial organisation. Ideally you will hold a tertiary qualification in Human resource management, Learning and development, Organizational Management or similar. In addition you should have:
- Demonstrated strategic thinking - able to align operational outcomes with our objectives.
- Able to conduct research, analyse data, and provide recommendations to a range of stakeholders.
- A proven track record of driving outcomes with cross-functional teams.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
