Australian Ecosystems are a market-leading specialist who creates award winning public spaces, sustainable communities, and diverse natural resource projects for our greater community, all the while growing our own plant stock.

Due to our growing portfolio of commercial, residential landscape and natural resource projects, we have an exciting opportunity for a Nursery Dispatch Team Member who will assist with our stock deliveries/management and general nursery hand duties.

Your role will be to pick orders, deliver a range of native and indigenous stock to our sites, and complete a range of general Nursery Hand tasks, reporting to our Nursery Manager.

The role

• Pick orders, maintain stock, and prepare stock for delivery. 
• Deliver plant stock to our various sites across Metropolitan Melbourne. 
• Positive, hardworking work ethic and reliable with good attention to detail
• Manage the collection of incoming stock from suppliers.
• General tasks to assist around the Nursery, including maintenance of stock and areas. 
• Grow, develop, and learn best practice Nursery techniques. 

About you

• Qualifications in Horticulture or previous industry experience preferred.
• Experienced in driving medium rigid trucks, holding a current MR License is advantageous. 
• Experienced in towing trailers, operating forklifts. 
• Great communication with exceptional customer service skills, as well as strong ability to problem-solve. 
• Strong attention to detail and organisation.
• Great work ethic, reliable, passionate about plants and sustainability.
• Fit for physical work which can be demanding at times.
