Nursery Hand - Wholesale Production (Casual)

Azalea Grove Nursery is a wholesale plant production nursery based at Redland Bay, supplying a specialised range of plants to the wholesale, retail and landscape industries as well as government bodies and councils in Queensland and New South Wales.

Azalea Grove Nursery has an outstanding reputation within the Nursery Industry, having a long history of servicing wholesale, retail and landscaping professionals for many decades. Through our networks we produce and supply the highest quality plant stock in order to support our clients to meet or exceed their customers’ expectations.

We are currently undergoing a period of expansion and are looking for physically fit general Nursery Hands to join our dynamic picking and dispatch team. We are looking for 2-3 fit and motivated people to join our stock picking team where you will selectively pick our plant stock and prepare them for dispatch to our customers. The successful candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following key attributes:

• Be physically fit as these roles are physical in nature,
• Be motivated self starters who are capable of working unsupervised when required,
• Be available to work Monday to Friday each week,
• Reliable and punctual for work, and
• Must have reliable own transport.

Industry experience would be preferred but is not essential as we do offer full training for the right candidates.

Employment will be on a casual basis between 25 to 30 hours per week, with the prospect of an offer of full time employment after a qualifying period for employees who demonstrate the attributes we require and who seek a career within our dynamic business.
