AddressMaroubra Neighborhood Children's Centre (MNCC) is excited to welcome a passionate, Diploma qualified or Early Childhood Teacher to join our team as Room Leader for our 8 children a day, Gumnuts (under 2 year olds). The Learning environment includes an indoor/outdoor program, well equipped and maintained environments.

The Role:
This is a permanent full-time Team Leader position. This role is working with infants in a small group size of 8 children per day. You will be working alongside a fellow experienced Diplomas, Early Childhood Teachers and Cert III trained educators.
The Duties:
- Develop, plan and implement a quality Care and Education program and environment. This will be supported by the Educational Leader.
- Guide and support your team working within our Centre philosophy and the Early Years Learning Framework and The UN Rights of the Child Act.
- Communicate respectfully with children, families and educators.
- Maintain up to date documentation and educational program
- Respond to the emotional, physical and cognitive needs of the children.
- Create a safe, stimulating and appropriate learning and care environment that extends and supports development.
- Assume the role of responsible person as required.
What you need to be Successful:
- Completed a Diploma in Children's Services or other ACECQA approved qualification
- Current clear Working With Children Check number; ACECQA approved First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis & approved Child Protection Training.
- Sound and practical knowledge of NQF, EYLF & WHS.
- Previous experience working with young children in early childhood education setting.
- Leadership skills, effective communication skills and a positive/ enthusiastic work ethic.
- Able to work independently but also within a team.
