About us
The Minimally Invasive Surgery Centre (MISC) is the first facility in Queensland dedicated to the advancement of the latest Ultra Minimally Invasive Musculoskeletal Interventions and Surgeries.
MISC is home to Maguire Upper Limb, Sports and Orthopaedic Specialists and the Carpal Tunnel Clinic Gold Coast.
As a new Day Hospital, we are looking for nurses to join our growing team including Practice Nurses, Scrubs, Scouts, Recovery, Anaesthetics and Sterilisation Services.
New graduate, enrolled, registered and dental nurses are encouraged to apply.

Your new role and responsibilities:
- Assisting specialists with consulting clinics including the booking of theatre lists and patient examinations
- Assisting with procedures and interventions
- Theatre set-up (including sterile and aseptic procedures and surgeries)
- Scrubbing and scouting in theatre
- Pre-admission of patients
- Assisting with sterilisation when required
- Stock management
- Quality improvement and accreditation
Essential Criteria and Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Knowledge of National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards
- Microsoft Office Experience
- Typing or admin skills
- Excellent phone manner and skills
- Good organisation skills
Desirable but not essential criteria:
- Experience with scrubbing for theatre
- Experience using Gentu or Fydo software
- Admin Experience
- Sales Experience
- Accreditation Experience
- Gentu or Fydo software
- Sterilisation Experience
