About the role
Working closely with the Medical Practitioners and Nursing Staff, the Nursing Assistant is responsible for ensuring that services complement, support and enhance the quality and delivery of healthcare to patients.
Skills & experience
- Previous experience in a medical centre is desirable
- Knowledge of the Medicare Benefit Schedule is desirable
- Formal qualifications of a Certificate IV in Medical Practice Assisting Or
- Undergraduate Diploma/ Bachelor of Nursing (Currently completing second or third year of Diploma/ Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent)
- Strong communication and time management skills
- A caring and collaborative approach to patient care
