We are located in the Hills District near Bellavista and Seven Hills
Our goal is to deliver exceptional care to our patients.
We are looking for a Registered Nurse with experience working in a Medical Centre and having the commitment and desire to grow with the practice. Ability to take on some administration responsibilities is desired.
Skills and Experience
- Passion for Patient care
- Hands on experience in Best Practice software
- Have the ability to follow procedure and be confident in decision making
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organised and have the ability to multi-task.
- Demonstrates initiative and drive to achieve favorable outcomes for the clinic by supporting doctors.
- A sense of urgency whilst providing empathy and support
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team
- Previous experience in a General Practice
- Positive, confident and trustworthy
- Experience in Accreditation work
- Staff rostering and other administrative experience / knowledge in a Medical Centre
Essential Criteria - Current
- Current Registration
- CPR certificate
- Immunisation Certificate
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Excellent patient care
- Immunizations, ECGs and Wound Care
- Maintaining accurate heath records
- Ensure infection control procedures,
- Stock Management and ordering
- Clinical and administrative skills to coordinate health services for Patients
- Triage patients over the phone
- Assist doctors with minor procedures and health assessments
- Assist and educate reception / admin staff on clinical aspects where required
- Ensure effective recall and reminder system
- Good IT skills to use practice efficiency improvement tools such as Pencat
- Contribute to Practice Accreditation activities
- Practice administration work as the Assistant Practice Manager
