Queensford College is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that is focused on providing quality education and training in fully accredited courses to International and Domestic students in Brisbane, Parramatta and Adelaide.
We are seeking a motivated, professional and passionate Nursing Trainer to deliver practical training and assessment and provide outstanding support to our students for HLT54115 - Diploma of Nursing. This is a part-time, three days role at our Brisbane Campus. The successful applicant would have previous experience in Training and Assessing of the Diploma of Nursing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare for, train and assess students via various modes of delivery
- Regularly monitor and evaluate the delivery of training to ensure excellent support and service to students to maximise successful outcomes
- Conducting and evaluating assessments
- Maintain industrial currency
- Provide outstanding student support
- Administration, updating competency results and student records
- Contribute to and undertake administration procedures for the coordination of high quality training in the Nursing department.
- Contribute to and undertake quality assurance processes within the team & organisation
- Participate in professional development opportunities
- Ensure compliance with internal policies & strategic objectives of the organisation & regulatory bodies.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent; including TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A (or their successor); and TAEASS502 or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B (or their successor)
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Tertiary qualification relevant to Nursing
- Current Working with Children's Check (Blue Card)
- Current National Police Check
- Industry currency
- Previous RTO training experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of Standards for RTOs 2015 and CRICOS
- Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, promote, facilitate, monitor and evaluate training programs
- Five years of nursing experience
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to train domestic and international students
