Bayside Health Services at Redland Hospital are looking for several Casual Nutrition Assistants to join their team. The Nutrition and Dietetics team provides comprehensive clinical dietetic services for inpatients and outpatients within Bayside Health Service and works in collaboration with food services to ensure the provision of high-quality therapeutic patient-centred menus. Nutrition Assistants work within the multi-disciplinary healthcare team, liaising with Dietitians, Food Service staff and other Health Care Professionals to optimise patients nutritional care within established work processes and procedures.

About the Role
Designated duties are related to therapeutic diets and meal provision using CBORD (electronic menu management system), daily management of nutrition care plans including selective mid-meal delivery, meal-time monitoring, and other key tasks allocated by the Dietetic team.
- Demonstrate ability to follow procedures and work processes related to therapeutic diets and meal provision including competency in the use of CBORD electronic menu management system and other electronic systems.
- Undertake bedside same day menu ordering using CBORD to ensure patient dietary and individual requirements are considered for menu choices in meeting therapeutic requirements.
- Oversee accuracy of plated meals and delivery of selective mid-meals
- Undertake mealtime monitoring of patients and/or other key identified tasks and quality improvement activities as required and directed by the Dietetic team.
