Wagga Wagga City Council are seeking a motivated and driven individual, with experience in the Aquatic Industry to join the Oasis Aquatic Team as a Senior Lifeguard.
We offer:
- Permanent full time, 38 hours per week working a two week rotating roster.
- Remuneration package of $2,310.74 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $2,772.89 gross per fortnight, penalty rates for weekend work + Superannuation

This position will be responsible to:
- High-level supervision of all customers within the aquatic environment
- Provide clear direction to all customers to ensure the aquatic environment is operating safely and customers are adhering to the facility safety standards
- Willing and able to provide First Aid/CPR if required and incident reporting
- Water testing, general cleaning and other miscellaneous maintenance duties
- Lead, manage and inspire team on shift with a positive, can-do attitude
- First point of contact for staff on shift
- Open and clear communication between you and the team
- Ensure the safety, health and well-being of all patrons within our facilities
- Ability to work proactively, multitask and work well under pressure.
- Plan, implement and deliver engaging and safe group exercise classes.
Essential Qualifications:
- HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid
- Current Pool Lifeguard Licence.
- NSW Working with Children Check Clearance.
- Class C Drivers Licence

- Technical Operations
- SISSS00127 - Aqua Exercise Instruction
- SISCAQU011 - Promote development of infants and toddlers in an aquatic environment
- SISSS00112 - Swimming and Water Safety Teacher
- SIS31015 – Certificate III in Aquatics and Community Recreation
