ABOUT THE ROLE
The Occupational Health & Safety Coordinator position develops, coordinates and implements contemporary practices and procedures for Occupational Safety & Health in accordance with legislation, conditions and standards required by the Department and WorkSafe WA. The role will be responsible for ensuring on-site OSH compliance by staff, prisoners and contractors and will identify and carry out risk management assessments within the prison as required.

We require you to submit:

- A statement no more than 2 pages, addressing the following Work Related Requirements.
Please provide examples to support your claims.- Knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Act and associated legislation.
- Experience in the management, development and delivery of OHS or risk management programs.
- Communication, stakeholder management, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Planning, organisational and policy development
