ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an Occupational Health Registered Nurse to join our growing Brisbane City Clinic, on a Full-Time basis Monday to Friday. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of duties including but not limited to delivering employment related health assessments, health initiatives, and case managing injuries.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Workplace medical assessments including performing audiometry, spirometry, ECG, drug screening, functional capacity evaluations and aerobic fitness tests
- Coordinating health and wellness projects including taking bloods and administering vaccinations
- Triage and case management of workplace injuries to ensure a sustainable return to work
- General administration
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will need:
- Degree level qualifications in nursing or equivalent
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Experience or Qualifications in Audiometry, Spirometry, Drug & Alcohol Screening, Nurse Immunisation Certificate, and/or Phlebotomy (highly regarded)
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Current drivers’ license
- Professional manner, ability to build rapport, cultural sensitivity, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a multidisciplinary team
- Time management and prioritisation skills
- Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
