What is required as the successful Occupational Therapist:
- Tertiary qualification (Occupational Therapy)
- Proven experience as an OT
- Previous experience across the disability/NDIS sector
- Australian Driver's License
- Reliable motor vehicle
- Working with children check (or willing to obtain)
And finally, what does a typical week look like in this role:
- Ensuring you deliver goal centered plans and progress is being recorded against their goals.
- Assist in meeting auditing requirements for National Disability Service Standards
- manage a diverse caseload
- Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to set and work towards client-centered goals.
- Perform thorough clinical assessments to evaluate the sensory, motor, social/emotional and cognitive abilities of paediatric clients.
