How We Make an Impact
For over 15 years, Recovery Station has been providing community and clinic based allied health services, with a strong focus on disability and senior health. We have consistently grown and now proudly offer support to people with diverse needs across the Greater Hunter, Central Coast, Sydney and Illawarra regions.
Together, our passionate, multidisciplinary team of OTs, Mental Health OT's, MH Social Workers, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Dietitians and Allied Health Assistants collaboratively share their knowledge and experience to holistically design an individualised service to help improve the quality of life for people living with a disability or looking to age as independently as possible.

This role will be based from our Toronto office and is available in either a full-time or part-time capacity as we can be accommodating for the right candidate. Depending where you are based, we can tailor your caseload to service clients within either the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie or Maitland regions.
Over time and in consultation with you, you will be taught how to confidently:
- Provide high level clinical services including client assessment and treatment, therapy, equipment prescription, home assessment and modifications
- Run various educational sessions and therapy programs
- Produce high standard, comprehensive Occupational Therapy reports
Qualifications and Skills
- Approved qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration
- Current driver's license with use of own vehicle
This community based role presents an opportunity to service a diverse caseload with career pathways for our Occupational Therapists to specialise in areas they are passionate about and even progress to fields such as Mental Health, Neuro, Mods, Complex AT or Driving Assessments if desired.
You will be comfortable writing comprehensive reports based on your comprehensive clinical understanding, application of various clinical assessments and implementation of appropriate interventions or equipment prescription to address prioritised needs.
Within this role you will have the independence to work primarily in client's homes, group homes and where appropriate in our clinics. You will be working within a motivated team that embraces therapy that is person-centered, goal based and uses the latest evidence based methods.
Due to our multiple offices and steady referrals, the caseload for this position can be structured to service an area locally to you.
