This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the dynamic and energetic multidisciplinary TACP team within SWSLHD. The TACP team provides short-term quality care to our older population. We strive to enable clients to achieve their goals and optimise their function as a continual part of their recovery process following their hospital stay. Working in TACP team will provide a rewarding experience helping our older population to stay in the community as independently and safely as possible. Provide a high quality occupational therapy service to clients and their families/carers to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for the clients of the service. This encompasses ensuring effective and efficient entry, assessment, treatment planning, treatment implementation, evaluation and separation of patients/clients in a multi-disciplinary setting. The Occupational Therapist is also responsible for undertaking designated administrative tasks necessary to support service delivery.Where You'll Be Working

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Evidence of knowledge and commitment to the application of quality improvement and evidence based practice
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in a range of programs
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional education
  • Demonstrated clinical skills and experience in adult services
  • Must possess a valid Australian Drivers Licence (excluding learner driver's licences). If not already in possession, a NSW Drivers Licence must be obtained within 3 months of appointment.
