This occupational therapy position is part of a larger Occupational Therapy team working in Mental Health. The position is rotational within the team, with rotations including acute ( at Liverpool and Bankstown Hospital), sub-acute, non-acute and community. The role is occupational therapy specific and includes assessment, intervention, and discharge planning. You will work with Mental Health consumers both 1:1 and via groups. The position is part of a treating team that includes nurses, medical, diversional therapy, social work, clinical psychology, and peer work staffWhat You'll be Doing
Provide a high-quality occupational therapy service to clients and their families/carers to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for the clients of the service. This encompasses ensuring effective and efficient entry, assessment, treatment planning, treatment implementation, evaluation and separation of patients/clients in a multi-disciplinary setting. The Occupational Therapist is also responsible for undertaking designated administrative tasks necessary to support service delivery.Where You'll Be Working

- Evidence of knowledge and commitment to the application of quality improvement and evidence based practice
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in a range of programs
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional education
- Demonstrated clinical experience in Mental Health Services.
