About the role
We are currently seeking a fully registered Occupational Therapistto join our team, working with children and adolescents on either a part-time or full-time basis.
As a valued Occupational Therapist at EISS, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, delivering, and evaluating discipline-specific clinical services across various settings, including schools, social groups, community programs, and home visits
- Working within a multi-disciplinary team and guiding therapy assistants to deliver effective play-based therapy
- Completing Assessments and Preparing detailed assessment reports for individual clients
- Working one-on-one with clients to deliver safe, personalised therapy programs in home-based or school settings
- Contributing to a professional, positive, and ethical work environment to continually improve our practice's processes and procedures

About you: Our Ideal Candidate
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current registration with APHRA
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a car
- Police check (or prepared to obtain)
- Working with Children Check (or prepared to obtain)
- A commitment to providing high-quality, safe, and person-centered care
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team spirit
- Empathetic and compassionate towards clients facing physical and emotional challenges
- Skilled at encouraging client participation and overcoming resistance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience within the Disability Sector is highly desirable
