Occupational Therapist - Katherine, NT
The company
You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants to provide support to your clients in both a hospital and community based environment.
The role
As the Occupational Therapist, you will deliver high quality, culturally appropriate and effective Occupational Therapy services to your clients in a hospital setting.
The duties and responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist will include, but not be limited to:
- Managing a complex caseload of clients
- Providing appropriate skilled clinical assessment and interventions across a range of clinical areas and service delivery modes
- Completing functional assessment to establish capable environments around the person within your care
- Maintain confidentiality and duty of care at all times
What will you get in return?
- Salary of between $88k and $105k dependent on years' experience
- Relocation packages available, permanent role
- Up to 6 weeks annual leave

About you
To be considered for the role of Occupational Therapist, you will have:
- Tertiary qualification as an Occupational Therapist
- Be fully registered with AHPRA
- Demonstrated awareness and understanding of Aboriginal Culture and proven experience in working effectively with patients and families/carers of diverse cultural and social backgrounds
- Current police clearance
- Current NT Working with Children Check
