Senior Occupational Therapist / Team Leader
As the Senior OT Team Leader of this multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for the success of your own caseload as well as leading and mentoring a team of Occupational Therapists.
Your purpose as the role is to ensure exceptional outcomes for our young clients in a well-supported team environment. Drawing on your allied health experience you will be a proactive, solution-focused, professional and dedicated to bringing the best for your clients, families, staff and the organisation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Day to day overseeing of a leading and innovative team.
- Apply and extend your extensive clinical knowledge through professional development with staff,
- Ensure high level professionalism and ethical conduct,
- Partner with clients through their “Therapy Journey”, our stepped-out pathway to exceptional outcomes.
- Be a part of our partnership with IAHA, supporting the next generation of Indigenous allied health professionals and Allied Health assistants.
- Utilise the next generation of client management systems – no more clunky programs or handwritten notes!
- And much much more to ensure a successful and rewarding team, clinic and clients.

About you
- You are naturally driven! A person who thrives on seeing others successful succeed.
- Approachable and empathetic towards those we assist.
- Naturally, you have a love for working with children. You will have extensive experience working in early intervention in either private or public.
- You have grown over the years in your clinical experience and are perhaps currently working as an OT / Senior OT who is wanting to take the next step into a Team Leader role whilst still drawing on your clinical experience.
- Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to engage with our indigenous community.
- You love what you do, and this shows in your ability to engage and build relationships.
- Above all, you are ready to take on this opportunity and grow as a leader in your field.
- Hold academic qualifications together with professional registration (AHPRA).
- Lastly, you are enthusiastic and willing to jump in and hit the ground running!
