The Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Hub is a State Government investment which aims to respond to the increasing number of people with mental health and drug and alcohol presentations seeking help in emergency departments. The Hubs focus is to respond with timely and specialist care and will operate under a short stay unit model offering assessment, care and treatment planning.
Your new role:
- Be part of an active and growing OT workforce;
- Have access to professional supervision;
- Have opportunities to provide supervision to OT staff and students;
- Ongoing opportunities to further train in OT specific skills;
- Be supported by the Communities of Practice in sensory modulation, group work, driving and vocation.
About you:
- You have knowledge of mental health services community support and treatment options.
- You are looking to expand your skills within a dynamic environment;
- You have effective communication skills and a passion for continued professional development;
- You are an AHPRA registered OT with 7 years’ experience and looking to contribute within our supportive and dedicated multidisciplinary team.
