- Provide a high-quality Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention service that is evidence based and solutions focused.
- Manage a mixed caseload with complex and varied needs.
- Be able to work with customers of all ages, their families and carers to identify strengths, skills and goals.
- Use appropriate assessment tools and methods to assess strengths and areas of development, in order to identify suitable intervention strategies.
- Be able to deliver therapy in a variety of environments, e.g. centre based, schools/preschools, group homes, homes and via telehealth.
- Demonstrate and embody Northcott values; ‘innovative, respectful and brave’.
- Contribute proactively to the ongoing development of professional knowledge and skills within the Occupational Therapy profession.
- Ability to enter and work in Australia under approved employer sponsored visa types.
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
- Current AHPRA registration (or registration in progress)
- Experience delivering evidence based therapy to a paediatric, adolescent and/or adult caseload.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload and administrative responsibilities in an autonomous, efficient and effective manner.
- An understanding of the NDIS framework and working within a fee for service model is desired.
- Be able to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- NDIS Worker Check & WWCC (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid Certificate (including CPR) or willingness to obtain.
