With both residential facilities and community programs, they offer a range of services to ageing clients with care needs. This role is well supported by Senior Occupational Therapists and provides the full scope of Occupational Therapy services to over 65's within the community and residential aged care facilities.
About your role:
As an Occupational Therapist will be responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of services-including:
Undertake client assessments prescribing the necessary aids or modifications as required
Undertake Home assessment (minor and major modifications)
Maintain accurate client records
Plan, coordinate and implement individual and group treatment programs
Undertake regular audits of equipment
Provide necessary training to staff of new equipment
Liaise with other healthcare professionals, client's family members and agencies as required
Deliver manual handling training to staff
About you:
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent
Current registration with AHPRA & the Occupational Therapists Board of Australia
Experience working with adult/elderly clients desirable
Queensland Provisional or above driver's license
Experience within Aged Care desirable
Competitive Salary - $80,670.00 - $101,915.00
