We are currently partnering with a leading not-for-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of physical and mental health support in the community. Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapists to join their dynamic team.

Position: Occupational Therapist

Location: South of the River

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve clients' functional independence and overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and maximize outcomes for clients.
  • Provide education and support to clients, families, and caregivers to promote independence and self-management.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment interventions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Proven experience working with individuals across the lifespan in a clinical or community setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish therapeutic relationships.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting inclusivity and diversity in care delivery.
