We are an Allied Health e-Practice based in Brisbane, Queensland. We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to work in a true and genuine contractor role. With our Telehealth services extending Australia-wide and in-person consultations in the Greater Brisbane Region, we offer a unique opportunity to reach and impact a diverse group of clients. Our work is crucial in supporting NDIS participants through Functional Capacity Assessments, Independent Nursing Assessments, and Capacity Building Therapies. Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor or masters degree in occupational therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working with Children Check
Tasks & responsibilities
- Conducting virtual assessments to evaluate clients' needs, strengths, and difficulties.
- Developing personalised care plans based on assessments, incorporating goals and strategies to support clients' daily living skills and overall well-being.
- Delivering therapeutic interventions via TeleHealth, utilising innovative tools and approaches to engage clients effectively.
- Collaborating with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to care.
- Maintaining detailed client records and progress notes in compliance with professional standards and privacy laws.
- Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance service delivery and practice knowledge.
