About the Position We are looking to welcome an Occupational Therapist to provide an outstanding therapeutic service to children, young people, and their families in Melbourne. Part-Time (0.8FTE 60.8 f/n) opportunity until 31 December 2024. Level 6 under the SCHCADS award. Salary range is $102,555 - $107,080 (pro-rata) plus super. Key responsibilities of the role include: Maintain a client case load as negotiated with the Practice Manager. Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions as part of an integrated team. Identify and work toward client goals and achieve successful case outcomes for clients. A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy. National registration as an Occupational Therapist is essential and membership of Occupational Therapy Australia is desirable. At least two years’ experience working with children, young people and their families who have been impacted by trauma or experienced abuse and neglect, or at least two years’ experience working in similar roles. Experience providing individual and group therapy to children, young people and their families. Other Requirements Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption. Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested). Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical exemption.
