Occupational Therapist (Grade 3) - Adult Acute Unit
80 per fortnight with monthly ADO (hours and days per week negotiable)
About the role
This newly created Occupational Therapy Grade 3 role plays a pivitol leadership role in embedding evidence-informed occupational therapy services within the Adult Acute Unit. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team, play a key role in discharge planning and advocacy, provide specialist consultation, and provide leadership of the therapeutic group program.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and evaluate Occupational Therapy services
• Provide evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessment and treamtent for people using the service
• Supporting the strategic direction of Occupational Therapy services across GMHWS
• Leading and supporting change
• Providing supervision and mentoring of allied health staff and students

Skills and experience

• Strong leadership skills

• Clinical experience working within a range of settings with people across the lifespan
• Passion and commitment to providing evidence-informed, recovery-oriented services
