ERH services the Shire of Campaspe and the cross-border Murray River Council. Echuca Moama and townships are located directly across the state border from one another, separated by the Murray River.

ERH provides a comprehensive range of acute, medical, surgical and sub-acute services plus residential aged care and a broad range of community healthcare services. Applications are sought from suitably qualified Occupational Therapist to work in as part of the Occupational Therapy Department providing services to NDIS clients, this position could be a mixed caseload of adult and paediatric caseloads. The applicant will have scope to work in other areas of interest and required to backfill bed based services as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide evidence-based assessment and interventions to a broad range of disabilities using occupational therapy evidence-based skills
- Actively engage in the supervision of Grade Two and one staff working across various clinical areas ensuring clinical competencies and person-centred care in a timely manner
- Work within a team environment providing support and leadership providing a clinical lead in the area of disability
- Completion of all mandatory requirements for funding, organisational and APHRA registration which include a yearly APHRA professional development plan, understanding of funding minimum data obligations, quality improvement, student support or other duties as directed
Our team requires someone who has:
- Qualifications and registration with the Board of Occupational Therapy, APHRA and eligibility to become a member of OT Australia
- Proven experience as a Grade Two or ThreeOccupational Therapist
- High-level awareness of statutory obligations, evidence based assessments and interventions, clinical skills across bed based or community services
- Demonstrated knowledge of clinical assessment and intervention in occupational therapy
- Strong communication, time management skills and are self-motivated with the ability to work independently or within a team
