This organization prides itself on its innovative approach, strong community connections, and commitment to seamless care for NDIS participants. They are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist with deep NDIS knowledge and a strong desire to impact positively on disability services.
In this role, you will:
- This role offers a blend of inpatient and community work, with flexibility for home-based tasks, requiring occasional ward visits across multiple hospital locations in the area
- Collect evidence to support individuals with disabilities through the NDIS access and planning stages.
- Perform clinical assessments to determine functional impacts of disabilities and eligibility for the NDIS.
- Lead NDIS capacity building initiatives
- Provide transdisciplinary clinical liaison support to staff across a variety of disciplines
- Build and maintain relationships with NDIS and key stakeholders.
- Facilitate linkages and referrals to alternative supports based on holistic assessments.
- Engage in strategic data collection to inform service delivery and program development.
