Occupational Therapist

Barwon Occupational Therapy have an exciting opportunity for an OT to join our enthusiastic Geelong based team. We currently have OTs working across the Barwon region including, Geelong, Surf Coast, The Bellarine Peninsula, Lara, Colac & Bannockburn. We are looking for a passionate OT to join our established team to deliver community based occupational therapy to a range of clients in their areas of expertise.We have full and part time positions available. We are accepting applications from new therapists through to experienced clinicians.Barwon Occupational Therapy provides OT services to clients of all ages and abilities. Our services are provided to clients in their homes, schools, workplaces, in the community and our consulting rooms and sensory gym in Grovedale. Our clients include, but are not limited to, clients with mental health conditions, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities and developmental delays. Our clients include NDIS, Medicare, My Aged Care, private clients, schools, TAC and Workcover.Barwon OT is a family friendly and flexible business. - Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Current driver's license and reliable car
- AHPRA registration
- NDIS workers screening check
- Professional Indemnity InsuranceDesirable:- Current membership with OTA and other professional bodies within field of practice.
- Experience areas including sensory assessment and intervention, functional assessment, behaviour support, home modification, and
equipment prescription.
