In this role you will be responsible for the provision of high-quality Occupational Therapy services to patients at Auburn Hospital within the Inpatient Rehabilitation Service. Your role will also include:
- Providing clinical leadership and supervision for the Occupational Therapy staff delegated by the Occupational Therapy Head of Department.
- Assisting with the provision of Occupational Therapy services to other areas of the hospital, including both inpatient and outpatient services.

- Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration: Current general registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
- Demonstrated experience in supervision and training of Level 1/2 Occupational Therapists, Allied Health Assistants and/or Occupational Therapy Students.
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated highly developed skills in time management, high-volume caseload management and prioritisation of patients in a rehabilitation inpatient setting.
- Demonstrated understanding of service coordination, evaluation, planning and development and/or experience in leading quality improvement projects.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and monitor the work health and safety requirements in a rehabilitation inpatient hospital setting.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimum direct supervision and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence.
