About the role:This role is available due to growth of the business and will greatly support development in the
Community Housing sector. The
Assistant Development Manager will support a broad range of development and project delivery activities across various residential projects with differing models of project delivery. This role involves managing projects across Australia, including current developments in Ipswich, Toowoomba/Crows Nest, Wodonga, Baranduda, Bendigo, and Adelaide. Future secured projects include developments in Darwin, Cairns, Albury, Geelong, Port Wakefield, Bendigo, and St Albans.
Key responsibilities:- Assist in managing existing projects at various stages of execution under the guidance of the General Manager of Property.
- Prepare and coordinate new project feasibilities and assist with design and planning agencies.
- Support the Development Team in delivering projects on time and on budget.
- Participate in the Development Approval process and manage design teams post-DA.
- Prepare project tracking and progress reports, and coordinate stakeholder and funder reports.
- Assist with the handover of new developments to Asset Management and Housing Teams.

- Degree qualified in a related discipline with relevant experience in property construction project management.
- Experience within the housing development sector preferable.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and work autonomously as well as in a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
