- $97.00 - $116.40 per hour, plus travel time (up to an additional $97 per client for face-to-face services).
- Travel Reimbursement for the kms you travel (96 cents per km).
About us:
We are a Brisbane based specialist NDIS service providing Occupational Therapy and Psychology services for adolescents and adults.
We primarily specialise in mental health care however also work frequently with people who have autism, developmental and intellectual disabilities.
We provide comprehensive support to meet individualised recovery goals. We work closely with our clients, carers, families and NDIS support teams.
We pride ourselves on having extensive and specialist experience in the mental health and disability field.
What we provide to our Sub Contractors:
- Access to an existing waitlist of clients according to your areas of expertise.
- Ability to chose your own referrals.
- All admin taken care of by us - including service agreements, budgets, consent forms, invoicing to plan managers / NDIA.
- Ability to see NDIA managed participants - as a NDIA registered company, we can offer you referrals from clients who are self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA managed.
- Work / Life balance: Ability to see clients in the community when it suits you, and then complete your work at home.
- Complete flexibility over your hours of work and client load.
- Use of our reputable and established North Pine Therapists company logo, brand, letter head and report template.
- Access to your own North Pine Therapists email address and Outlook account.
- Access to our Practice Management Software for simple organisation of client appointments.
THE ROLE - Occupational Therapist
You will provide high-quality Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention for NDIS clients, carers and their support teams.
What you'll do
- Visit clients in their home or community setting to provide functional assessments, as well as individual therapy.
- Design therapy plans that are holistic and based around the client’s goals.
- Write high quality and comprehensive reports for clients and their NDIS stakeholders.
- Communicate and liaise with clients, carers, family members and NDIS supports to achieve best outcomes.
The Ideal Candidate must have:
- Current AHPRA registration as an OT
- Current valid driver’s licence & reliable vehicle
- Your own ABN and Indemnity Insurance
- Ability to work from home - access to a private and confidential work space.
- Minimum 2 years experience - ideally some experience working with the NDIS would be desirable, but not required.
- Ability to work autonomously and independently
- Ability to provide high quality and professional functional assessments and reports.
