About this role
Occupational Therapy plays a vital role to our commitment to genuinely make a difference in lives of those living with disabilities. As a casual or subcontractor, you will assess, create FCA and intervention plans, and provide ongoing therapy for capacity building and skill building services to NDIS participants. You will also work closely with our therapy assistants to enhance our clients' goals.
Tasks & responsibilities (Not Limited to)
- Work from Home and Travel required
- Conducting FCA plans and Therapy programs
- Implement NDIS participants' therapy services (capacity building and skill building)
- Assist and guide therapy assistants where required
- Identify and provide appropriate information, community events and education, where needed, to participants and families
- Ensure client satisfaction at every stage
- Maintain detailed documentation for provided services.
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor or masters degree in occupational therapy
- Experience working as an Occupational Therapist, ideally at least 2 years or relevant prior working experience
- Current AHPRA registration
- NDIS check
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, verbal and written.
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- Valid Driver’s License
- Registered and comprehensively insured motor vehicle
