We are a well-known Accounting, Financial Planning and Mortgage Brokering firm with offices located within the Inner North/West and Eastern suburbs of Melbourne VIC.
We have a strong team culture and are looking for a motivated and reliable Client Services Officer to join our team and assist with our continued growth. This full-time position will be based at our Moonee Ponds office.
As a business we pride ourselves in providing innovative advice to our extensive client base and rely on our staff for the continuous improvement of processes, products and services.
We are looking for a highly organised and skilled Client Services Officer to provide exceptional customer service and assist with the day-to-day administrative requirements in the Financial Planning division of our busy firm.
About the role
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following daily duties:
- Coordinate and participate in client meetings and appointments (both face-to-face and via video conference).
- Support Financial Advisers in crafting financial plans and generating reports for clients.
- Maintain and manage client data in the XPlan system.
- Carry out research and analysis to underpin Financial Planning recommendations.
- Managing and updating client files and database information.
- Assisting with a variety of daily duties such as preparation of documents, meeting notes and client follow ups.
- General ad-hoc administrative tasks.
Skills and experience
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Experience in utilising Xplan is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Clear understanding of the importance of professional confidentiality.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to multi-task and work within a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience within a Financial Planning firm is highly advantageous but not integral.
