Within your new role as a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be inducted through an extensive training induction based at our head office in Sydney we offer ongoing support from your team leader and buddy system to set you up for success.
You will build up to managing your own portfolio of clients with their return to work plan by:
- Managing a portfolio of return-to-work files
- Completing one-off assessments and making recommendations
- Attending medical appointments and communicating complex medical information back to insurer customers
- Initial assessments, workplace assessments, ADL assessments
- Writing insurance reports
- Communicating with injured worker, employer, Doctor and other medical professionals to ensure appropriate intervention
- Facilitating a safe and timely graduated return to work plan
- Documenting case notes as part of reporting and compliance requirements
- Tertiary qualified - Occupational Therapist
- Registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA
- Min of 2 years working experience as an Occupational Therapist - Essential
- Car and valid Driver’s license
- Police check or willingness to obtain a police check prior to commencement
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Customer service driven with “can do attitude”
