Accredited Exercise Physiologists – here is your chance to be part of a Private Practice multi-disciplinary team at Centre of Strength and Wellness, as we expand with the addition of another full time on-site AEP
Centre of Strength and Wellness (CSW) is a 2-time award-winning centre, and home to a collaborative and holistic approach for our client’s health and wellbeing.
We’re definitely not your traditional clinic! Our clients are empowered to understand their own health, helping them to develop better lifestyle practices ultimately allowing them to thrive in a way which they had never thought of before.
Our 450sqm centre includes full-size gym with sled track and bouldering wall (no pokey training facility here!), treatment rooms, dedicated Pilates studio with 4 x Balanced Body reformers, large separate multi-purpose zone and full amenities, all recognised with our Good Design Award Winning interiors (Architectural Design) for outstanding design and innovation.
Our experienced and passionate team provide integrated care in our state-of-the-art facility, through services including:
- Physiotherapy
- Exercise Physiology
- Psychology
- Clinical Exercise Small Groups
- Strength + Conditioning
- Dietetics + Nutrition
- Remedial Massage
- Sports Care
- Athlete Development and High Performance Testing
- Pilates (both Clinical and Reformer 1:4)
- CADS Kids Program
- Chronic Conditions including Pain and Fatigue
- GLA:D Program
As a vital team member who works closely with above-mentioned practitioners, you strive to deliver the best possible outcomes for clients and are ready to help shake-up the current ‘norm’ of providing health services in an old-school clinical setting.
The successful applicant should be resourceful and capable of working with individuals (of all ages), Youth and High Performance Athletes, NDIS participants (varying in age), as well as the potential to take small groups (1:3) who each have their own unique program based on their presentations and goals. We require CSW AEP’s with highly developed observational skills to provide valuable feedback, and who also see the opportunity to enlist the support of our other practitioners including Physiotherapists, Strength + Conditioning Coaches, Accredited Dietitians and Psychologist, where necessary.
Empathy is an essential attribute for our CSW AEP’s, especially when looking after clients presenting with chronic conditions and injuries, to help them develop skills that enable a good quality of life. Strong communication and leadership skills are also extremely important, as our clients look to their AEP as a prime example of how to achieve a healthy wellbeing.
You get a buzz from a busy schedule, enjoy collaborating with other innovative like-minded practitioners and always want the best for clients. You love working with an epic team who provide daily inspiration, unlimited laughs, crave a good coffee and an even greater feed (thanks Elsternwick!).
We’re excited to add another full-time onsite AEP who has a drive for growth, understands the importance of personal and professional development, and is also in pursuit of continual learning – and we’d love to hear from you!
