About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our Launceston team and contribute to creating a nurturing and encouraging environment for NDIS Participants and their families. As an Occupational Therapist, you will conduct thorough assessments, deliver effective therapeutic interventions, and prepare detailed reports for clients of all ages referred to our service. The treatment will be provided in various settings including homes, clinics, and communities.
You will also regularly monitor and evaluate client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in order to achieve optimal outcomes.
We will offer you a unique support structure which provides an opportunity for you to work in a generalist capacity or tailor your caseload to one or more of the following areas:
- Mental Health / Psychosocial Disability
- Home Modifications
- Housing
- Assistive Technology
- Paediatrics

About youWe like to keep an open mind when it comes to bringing therapists on board! With that being said, there are a few requirements for our therapists which are:
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
- At least 1 years’ experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the private or public sector
- AHPRA Registration
- NDISWC / WWCC (or willingness to apply)
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Ability to provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations based on State Government requirements (or applicable exemption)
