Are you a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist?

Making Milestones is an exciting, new Allied Health Practice in Adelaide’s Western Suburbs. Our client base is growing rapidly, and we are seeking a skilled and experienced OT to nurture and develop our growing team of brilliant OTs.

We are building our vision to support children and adults with disabilities and their families to flourish now and into a bright future. We provide Playgroup, Sensory Classes and Kindergym as well as discipline-specific, individual therapy and group programs, alongside training and educational workshops for parents and teachers. Our team of talented, dedicated and innovative clinicians have a diverse range of skills and experience and provide a positive, fun and supportive multi-disciplinary service.

Making Milestones can offer you:
A varied role including the provision of clinical support and education for our OT team, overseeing student clinics, developing programs and resources as well as two days of clinical work in your preferred area of paediatric practice.
Work in a team with speech pathologists, occupational therapists, allied health assistants and mental health social workers.
A brand-new, purpose-built facility with modern, well equipped treatment rooms, groups spaces, and a sensory room and a second site in development.
A large, vibrant group space with facilities for life skills training, a cafe space and indoor playground.
An extensive range of therapy resources.
Administrative support as well as support from other experienced clinicians.

What you will need:
Qualifications as an Occupational Therapist with at least five years paediatric experience.
Leadership experience an advantage or a passion to develop in a leadership role.
Ability to promote growth and development in other clinicians of varied experience and skill levels.
Ability to nurture a positive and supportive team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, team work, problem solving and mentoring skills.
A commitment to innovation, creativity, and continual improvement.
The ability to relate effectively to children, adolescents, families, team members and other providers.
Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders, NDIS, group therapy and feeding therapy an advantage.
Current RAN, Childsafe and appropriate DCSI clearances.
Eligible to register for a Medicare Provider Number.
