About the role
We have a new vacant Off-Network Services Lead role in our growing Water Ventures team.
Water Ventures is a part of the Environmental & Industrial Group, and is responsible for creating new solutions for industrial, commercial and residential customers, within and beyond our service territory. We collaborate with our customers and stakeholders to shape opportunities, develop the new products and services, and ultimately operate the commercial business units.
This role is responsible for leading Off Network Services, managing customer facing activities for the Filling Station, Metered Standpipe and Tankered Waste services. Leading the day-to-day customer management, compliance and billing activities and tracking and optimising product performance. To do this you will lead a small team ensuring services are being delivered safely and reliably.
Some of your accountabilities will include:
- Implementing the Off Network Services business plan.
- Producing monthly product reports and tracking performance.
- Maintain strong customer knowledge through effective frequent customer engagement.
- Maintaining key supply contracts and relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and other product and service improvements.
- Lead the Off Network Services team by identifying opportunities to grow Off Network Services products and services.
- Acting as a safety, ESG and cultural leader of your team.

- You are able to spend a considerable amount of time working from our depot in Ipswich.
- Business Degree or equivalent qualifications and/or experience
- Hold a Queensland Class C driver's licence or equivalent interstate licence to travel to UU operational locations.
