OFFICE MANAGER – BUSUTTIN RACING - JUNE 2024
Key Function
To manage and run the book-keeping and administrative functions of a horse racing office.
Key responsibilities for the role include:
- Book-Keeping including sending out monthly statements to around 1200 customers a month.
- Management and processing of accounts receivable and payable.
- Maintain & report weekly on outstanding Debtors.
- Co-ordinate maintenance of a tidy professional office environment.
- Payroll for around 50 employees. Rosters for those 50 staff.
- Liasing with our external Accountants to keep on top of the companies statutory requirements – BAS/PAYG payments, Super obligations etc.
- Adhoc general office duties.
- Adhoc PA Duties for the Directors of the company.
- Staff and Human Resource Management. Superannuation & maintenance of personnel records.
- Lodge and Manage Workcover Claims.
DAY TO DAY REQUIREMENTS
- Banking and general book-keeping.
- Invoice Data Entry.
- Cash Receipts.
- Management of horse movements in Ardex.
- Adhoc duties as they arise.
- Liaise with debtors and creditors.
WEEKLY
- Payment of weekly payroll.
- Debtors List preparation and distribution to directors.
WEEKLY / FORTNIGHTLY
- Creditor payments run.
MONTHLY
- Monthly owners accounts.
- Salaries / Personnel records.
- Standard monthly Journal Entries.
- GL Reconciliations – Bank Rec, Petty Cash etc.
- Ad hoc Management Reports and analysis as required.
- Co-Ordinate archiving & filing of financial records.
Remuneration is negotiable based on your experiences and qualifications.
Range $70K-$95K plus super.
