The Role:
Undertake a coordination and supervisory role by overseeing the day to day delivery of all aspects of administrative and clerical service functions, including frontline reception, patient coordination, billing, and clinical information.
Build and maintain an effective team of administrative staff including coordinating workloads, monitoring performance and ensure administrative staff work efficiently and effectively across the Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Departments.
Provide direction and input to the administrative requirements for the service moving forward in this changing and demanding health environment.
Provide administrative support to the Head of Department - Cardiology, the Nurse Unit Manager - Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory and other senior clinicians within the Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Departments.

Details of Appointment
Permanent, full time, day work position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
- Applicants should note that, for a period of six months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $73,602 to $84,846 per annum + 10.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Salary range is in accordance with the Health and Human Services (Tasmanian State Service) Award
