What does this role involve?
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Front Office Duty Manager on a full-time basis. This role will report directly to the Rooms Division Manager and is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Front Office department. You will be expected to work a rotational roster including weekends and public holidays.
Your duties will include but not limited to:
- Oversee operations and maintain a highly visible presence in Front Office and guest contact areas,
- Supervise staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met,
- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge, and
- Proactively anticipate both your team and guest needs.
What will you bring to the team?
- Previous experience in a similar role,
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills to build positive relationship and deliver exceptional customer service to our guests,
- Strong time management, organisation and problem-solving skills,
- Ability to inspire and motivate the team to exceed KPIs
- Hold an unrestricted Drivers Licence, and
- Sound computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and property management systems (RMS – desirable).
