Based in our Menora Office, the Office Manager is accountable for the coordination and management of the administration support and services for the Home and Community Support site.
You will be responsible for offering administrative assistance to staff and the Operation Management team. In addition, you will professionally manage various internal and external enquiries, including liaising with members of the public. The successful candidate will be highly organised, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be a true team player.
The Office Manager will:
- Managing Administration staff and Support Officers, including; performance issues, staff rostering, task lists, task rosters
- Producing reports, memorandums, agendas and meeting minutes
- Maintaining office supplies, photocopying, ordering of equipment and supplies for the region
- Managing the asset portfolio of the hub, including but not limited to building/s, vehicle fleet, specialist and general equipment
- Coordinating building maintenance as required and/or as specified in lease arrangements
- Developing solutions and strategies to achieve operational efficiency and implementation of strategies
- Analysing and identifying opportunities for cost savings measures
- A Certificate / Diploma in Administration or Business Studies (highly desirable)
- Working knowledge of office procedures/business principles and practice
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office products, especially Excel spreadsheets
- High level of confidence, drive, and motivation with the ability to motivate others
- Proven ability to contribute to and work as part of a dynamic team in addition to operating independently
- An appreciation of routine legislative obligations related to staff security, building maintenance and occupation, contractor management and purchasing practice
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
- Willing to obtain annual flu vaccinations
- Evidence of two covid 19 vaccinations
- Own vehicle/licence
