About the Role
As a Medical Receptionist, your primary responsibilities will include patient preparation for procedures and bookings for all modalities. Answering calls, greeting patients, and taking payments. There is also the opportunity to cross-skill in other areas for leave cover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greetings of patients on arrival
- Generation of patient bookings
- Data entry of patient record
- Patient account billing
- Liaison with referring Doctors and medical staff
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have the following:
- Experience in a similar role within radiology preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have the ability to work independently and/or as part of a team
- A passion to deliver outstanding patient care
- Knowledge of Medicare processes preferred
