Copper Refineries are currently seeking suitably qualified applicants for the role of a Product Control Officer to join the Metallurgical team.

The Role
We are looking for a motivated person to join us in the role of Product Control Officer within the Metallurgical team.
Reporting to the Superintendent Metallurgical Process, this position will require you to work in a small team managing the dispatch of copper cathode from the Copper Refinery.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Loading of customer orders to production database
- Planning and coordinating the transport of copper cathode
- Weekly and monthly stock count and associated data entry
- Daily cathode and anode production and receipt data entry
- Weighing and strapping of re sampled bundles
- Identification of non-conforming bundles for inspection
- Liaising with multiple teams including commercial, production, maintenance and laboratory
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a logistics or dispatch role
- A current forklift competency
- High attention to detail
- Intermediate or advanced experience using Microsoft Excel including the tracking of errors and formulae
- An ability to adapt to rapidly changing customer needs
This position is residentially based in Townsville and requires you to work Monday to Friday. Occasionally you may be required to be flexible in terms of work times and rosters.
